Come Get to Know 'G' Nä Tá!
👜HOW DO YOU SAY 'G' Nä Tá:
You're probably closer than you think! It's jee-nah-TAY
👜WHERE ARE THESE BAGS MADE:
We are currently based in Atlanta, GA, and all products ship from Atlanta
👛WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE BAG NAMES:
Each bag style is inspired by a famous Black woman, and therefore, derives its name from a mashup of her name.
There are various reasons that makes each namesake inspiring, but above all, we adore, honor and revere the Black woman. Can you identify the phenomenal women behind Haberry, Dileyas, Naoel or Eliros?
👛WILL A SOLD-OUT ITEM COME BACK IN STOCK:
We use quality leftover materials from larger design houses and suppliers, which allows for a small number of items to be made from those pieces. And since these larger companies do not usually reuse the same fabric which would create the same residuals, once it's gone - it's gone.
This helps to ensure that your handbag remains a limited-edition, exquisitely-constructed exclusive item that won't be seen every where you turn. However, we showcase other coordinating items made in the same fabric when possible, all in our efforts to use up these remnant textiles.
👛WHAT ARE YOUR SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS:
Such an important question!
-
Only textile fragments or "remnants" are used for the outer bag. Cotton fabric is used as lining in all bags
-
Each bag contains reclaimed vinyl from disposed conference signage or other bags
-
A keychain fob is coming soon as part of a purse set, which will be able to use smaller textile fabrics on the outside, with segments of cardboard, plastic bottles, and fabric trimmings filling the inside
-
We've moved away from plastic and gloss packaging, as these items are nearly impossible to breakdown once discarded by the end user
👛CAN I REQUEST A CUSTOM BAG:
At this time, we do not have the capacity to do custom bags. When we do in the future, we will focus on utilizing items from the customer that will be used to create the new bag.
